While I had long believed in stashing cash in a pet emergency fund instead of paying for pet insurance, I was now sold. Pet insurance can pay for itselfAfter talking to a few fellow pet parents, I decided to get Embrace pet insurance. Now that I have pet insurance, I don't have to choose the cheapest pet insurance option because it's most affordable. I also have a pet emergency fundAs I said, before the constipation incident with my cat, I wasn't really keen on getting pet insurance. I think it’s safe to say that Joe Biden’s confident performance at the State of the Union has put to rest any doubts that he’ll be the Democratic nominee, with Kamala Harris as his running mate. But the great thing about the speech, Bret, wasn’t that he changed people’s minds about who to vote for in November. Bret: He also did a very good job defining the stakes of the election. Will we support the free world against Vladimir Putin or abandon it to him? Also, I marveled at the many ways Mike Johnson, the speaker of the House, managed to approximate the expressions of a constipated turtle.

My digestive symptoms settled down in week twoIn my second week of taking psyllium husk, everything settled down a bit. The texture of psyllium husk was too hard to overcomeIt's been a couple of weeks since I stopped taking psyllium husk and my body has returned to its previous state. I definitely think I was benefitting from taking psyllium husk, so I still plan on finding a way to incorporate it into my diet.

Chronic constipation has been linked with inflammation and mental disorders such as anxiety and depression, but there have been many unanswered questions about the relationship between digestive health and long-term cognitive function, according to a news release. Cognitive function refers to a person’s mental capacity for learning, thinking, reasoning, problem-solving, decision-making, remembering and paying attention. To find clues to these queries, the authors assessed more than 112,000 adults who had participated in the Nurses’ Health Study, Nurses’ Health Study II and Health Professionals Follow-Up Study. The authors of the latest research collected data on participants’ bowel movement frequency from 2012 to 2013, participants’ self-assessments of cognitive function between 2014 and 2017, and details on some participants’ objectively measured cognitive function between 2014 and 2018. But bowel movement frequency and subjective cognitive function were also linked with the participants’ gut microbiomes, the authors found.

Banfield Pet Hospital is owned by Mars Veterinary Health, a subsidiary of pet food and candy conglomerate Mars. "If you notice, there has been little to no innovation in pet health over the last decade, and yet in the last three years, there's been more innovation in pet health than in the last decade or 20 years," Singh said.
